CLINICAL INFORMATICIST

About the role

The Clinical Informaticist primarily works with physician practices to maintain and develop an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for a hospital-based information system. They will work closely with clinical providers to help them use the EHR effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop an Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Support, integrate, and evolve the EHR in collaboration with clinical providers
• Work closely with clinical providers to enhance the EHR's usability

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Show excellent time management
• Have a degree in Nursing with Health IT preferred
• Experience in a health care setting (3-5 years preferred)
• General understanding of EHR and clinical information systems
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
