Clinical Geriatrics Faculty Position - Academic Clinician Track

About the role

The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
• May include ambulatory geriatric care (office based, home care and/or nursing home care), and inpatient care (hospital and/or Sub-Acute Rehabilitation).

Requirements

• Must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
• ABIM or ABFM certification and Geriatric Medicine certification/eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in geriatric medicine.
• Experience in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
