Clinical Geriatrician Faculty
About the role
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics, at the University of Utah is seeking candidates for clinical physician faculty positions. These positions involve attending on inpatient consultation services and/or outpatient clinics, supervising Geriatric Medicine Fellows, teaching medical students and residents, and participating in educational activities.
Responsibilities
- Attending on inpatient and outpatient services
- Supervision of Geriatric Medicine Fellows
- Teaching third and fourth-year medical students and Internal or Family Medicine residents
- Participation in seminars, didactic lectures, and clinical conferences
- Providing state-of-the-art care for older patients in various settings
- Engaging in the Age Friendly Health System initiative
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- ABIM or ABFM board certification or eligibility in Geriatrics
Qualifications
- Experience and qualifications will determine the level of appointment
