About the Role
This position is for a Clinical Genetics Physician specializing in medical oncology with training or interest in Clinical Cancer Genetics and Cancer Risk Assessment. The role involves providing expert clinical care, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and supporting research initiatives in a growing, well-funded genetics program with regional and national collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical genetics and cancer risk assessment services
- Participate in cutting-edge research utilizing extensive databases and biosample repositories
- Collaborate with a team of genetic counselors and advanced practice providers
- Balance clinical duties with protected research time
- Contribute to a dynamic, multidisciplinary genetics program
Requirements
- Completion of US hematology/oncology fellowship
- Experience or training in cancer genetics
- Background in medical oncology, with expertise in breast, GU, GI, or GYN cancers preferred
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence and research advancement
