Clinical Faculty -Pleasant Prarie Campus
Job Requirements
There are two (2), 12-month faculty position openings requiring clinical expertise in adult medical surgical care and online teaching experience appropriate for graduate education and leadership. These positions will be focused primarily within the clinical environment with the possibility of also teaching simulation. This position requires excellence in teaching pre-licensure clinical skills, practicum and theory courses in foundational and medical surgical nursing practice. This includes but is not limited to teaching and providing service to the College, academic community, and nursing profession.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical and didactic theory instruction in the Master’s of Science in Nursing Direct Entry nursing program, Pleasant Prairie site. A commitment to continued development of excellence in teaching and service. Clinical instruction will take place in southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois.
Other Experience and Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- PhD or DNP or equivalent (preferred) eligibility for Wisconsin and Illinois licensure, certification in nursing education, and commitment to online graduate teaching
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and service
- The candidate should be forward thinking and committed to preparing the next generation of nurses for excellence in practice
