Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
• Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation
• Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness
• Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians

Requirements

• Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience: 3-5 Years
• Clinical Cardiac Experience: Required

Qualifications

• Current American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACES) certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• Experience with EKG monitoring and interpretation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Skills

• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation protocols
• Proficiency in patient assessment and exercise prescription

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually.
