Clinical Engineering Technician - Allegheny General Hospital
Essential Responsibilities
- Responds to unscheduled service requests from users by performing initial problem verification, troubleshooting, and problem correction.
- Completes scheduled maintenance in accordance with PM Inspection and Protocol management plan. Initiates and completes documentation after repair or PM is completed.
- Aid in med equipment installation as required.
- Aid other technical positions in Clinical Engineering and other departments in the system as required.
- Attend manufacture service schools, in-house training, and self-directed study as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Graduate from an electronic technical school OR 3 years of relevant and progressive experience.
- PREFERRED: Associate's Degree in biomedical or electronic engineering. 1-3 years' hands-on experience performing direct repair and maintenance on bio-medical equipment.
