About the role
The Clinical Engineering Tech position at St. Joseph’s Medical Center involves maintaining and repairing critical equipment to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Responsibilities
- Ensures maintenance, operation, and repair responsibilities meet department quality expectations.
- Maintains skills, knowledge of position by keeping up with new technological advances.
- Exercises good judgment and decision-making as a Biomedical Technician.
- Utilizes time productively.
- Adheres to departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School graduate with military technical schooling or two (2) years of college with major in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics or equivalent.
- Two (2) years' experience as a Biomedical Technician.
Qualifications
- Technical skills to test, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and modify complex clinical instrumentation and electronic equipment.

- Strong technical skills in biomedical engineering.
