Clinical Educator/Clinical Consultant- North East (Multiple Locations)

About the role

Clinical Consultants / Clinical Educators for Critical Care Monitoring Devices and Clinical Applications offer a unique opportunity to travel, explore new environments, and provide valuable education to healthcare professionals. This role involves traveling to healthcare facilities to provide end-user training, configuration, and go-live support for the world's top patient monitoring devices.

Responsibilities

• Travels to customer sites to educate and support healthcare professionals in operating critical care monitors proficiently and safely.
• Configures or designs monitor set-up per client company directed parameters and customer consultation.
• Provides post-sales end-user education classes/in-services.
• Delivers go-live support with new monitors or upgrades.
• Upholds customer focus by proactive assessment and appropriate communication/escalation of customer needs and solutions.
• Communicates with client company Clinical Specialists and completes documentation, as required.
• Maintains competency on product via company provided training events (classroom training, online learning modules, etc.).
• Optimizes travel strategies for cost savings.
• Maintains successful completion of corporate and client training modules.
• Completes expense and hourly reports as outlined.
• Maintains current driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Requirements

• Current RN license (BSN preferred)
• Minimum of three years of full-time critical care experience such as ICU, CCU, NICU, ED, OR.
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of: Cardiac rhythms and ST-segment interpretation, bedside and central station monitoring workflows, setup and management of invasive lines and pressure monitoring (e.g., cardiac output, wedge pressures).
• Flexibility, strong initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training/presentation skills.
• Expertise with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic networks.
• Ability to organize, schedule, and manage all travel needs and accommodation.
• Keen attention to detail, organized, and enthusiastic learner.

Qualifications

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

48+ weeks per year, 4-5 days per week between Monday and Friday, plus travel. Must be available for departure travel on Sundays to return on Thursdays or Fridays; OR, departure on Mondays to return on Fridays or Saturdays. Must be willing to work 5 days per week, 50% of the time, when assignment needs are longer than the 4 days.
