You will become a subject matter expert and trainer for the Assay Procalcitonin, working alongside the sales team, medical affairs, and license partners to train healthcare providers in its utility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational presentations for healthcare providers
- Read and interpret medical evidence
- Assess and respond to clinical information requests, scientific concepts, and present fair, balanced, highly clinical, scientific-based presentations to prospective and current customers
- Expertly communicate both in writing and via formal presentation
- Collaborate with the sales team, medical affairs, and license partners
- Project manage implementation of new laboratory tests and work with lab leadership to incorporate biomarkers into computerized physician order entry
- Travel as needed to customer sites to conduct training and assist with protocol development to enhance clinical demand for additional testing
- Update SalesForce.com to reflect key performance indicator metrics and document customer-facing activities
- Virtual and on-site prospecting in conjunction with the sales team to identify key stakeholders that influence the buying process
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or related experience
- 5+ years of clinically related job experience preferred
- Experience and understanding in the dynamics of the hospital environment
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50–75%
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a major airport to accommodate frequent travel requirements
- Proven understanding in the usage of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM, and internet tools
- Ability to be persuasive and operate successfully within a sales-oriented environment
- Strong diagnostic clinical skills, interpersonal skills, effective mentoring skills, and effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening
Pay
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $68,800.00–$103,150.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
