The Health Care District Of Palm Beach County Is Seeking Clinical Educators To Join Our Team In Two Unique Clinical Settings Lakeside Medical Center – Belle Glade, FL Community Health Centers – Palm Beach County, FL. Our community health centers provide comprehensive care, including primary care, behavioral health, dental, women’s health, pharmacy, laboratory services, chronic disease management, immunizations, and other supportive services. Lakeside Medical Center is a public teaching hospital serving the Glades communities and surrounding areas of western Palm Beach County. In both settings, Clinical Educators help develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence of the healthcare professionals who care for our community. Bring your clinical expertise. Develop your team. Responsibilities

• Play an important role in strengthening clinical knowledge, supporting professional development, and promoting safe, high-quality patient care.
• Assess educational needs, develop and deliver clinical education, support onboarding and competency validation, and serve as a clinical resource and role model for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Develop and deliver orientation, onboarding, in-services, clinical training, and competency programs.
• Assess educational needs and create learning plans that support staff development and clinical competency.
• Provide clinical guidance, remediation, and individualized education when needed.
• Evaluate educational programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives, clinical standards, policies, and protocols.
• Use case reviews and real-world clinical scenarios to create meaningful learning opportunities.
• Serve as an internal clinical resource and consultant while supporting professional development and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• One (1) year of previous clinical educator experience required.
• Community Health Centers: At least one (1) year of community health, ambulatory nursing, or behavioral health experience required.
• Lakeside Medical Center: At least one (1) year of acute care nursing experience required.
• Valid Florida RN license and Florida Driver’s License required.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred.
• BLS and ACLS Instructor certification required within nine (9) months of hire.
