Clinical Educator

Inizio Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading Biotechnology company, delivering educational support to identified patients, Healthcare Professionals, and office staff within primary care and specialist facilities for a designated disease state.

About the role

Provide disease state-related educational support to patients, Healthcare Professionals, and office staff as agreed with the Client Account Manager. Present approved educational programs to community support groups and Healthcare Professionals, attend required training, and maintain professional registration and licensing. Facilitate service development across healthcare sectors and explore innovative partnership opportunities. Complete administrative tasks, maintain company equipment, and comply with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational support on a designated disease state to patients, Healthcare Professionals, and office staff.
• Present educational programs to community support groups and Healthcare Professionals using only approved materials.
• Attend and complete all required training courses and competency assessments within specified time frames.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers.
• Facilitate the development and provision of services across multiple healthcare sectors.
• Explore new and innovative approaches to develop partnership opportunities.
• Complete administrative tasks such as daily computer updates, weekly activity reports, emails, and monthly expense reports.
• Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by state laws.
• Attend local and national meetings/conferences to stay updated on plans, activities, and developments.
• Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
• Comply with all Inizio Engage and client policies and procedures.
• Be contactable during working hours to answer queries.
• Possess and maintain a full, valid US driver’s license; notify the company of any offenses or penalty points.
• Travel within geography up to 50%; may be asked to travel outside of assigned geography.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an active state license and no restrictions.
• BSN preferred; minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Pharmaceutical industry and home care experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in neurology or immunology disease states or related fields.
• Experience with patient home injection training preferred.
• Demonstrate effective and professional communication skills.
• Ability to present to various groups, including physicians and office staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Evidence of continual professional development and a desire to update professional knowledge.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $84,000 – $156,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
