The Clinical Education Manager promotes the safety and well‑being of patients, employees, volunteers, and the community by leading infection prevention initiatives, supporting ongoing professional development, and taking a proactive approach to education initiatives with partner facilities and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate infection control programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOH, CMS, OSHA) and serve as a liaison with public health agencies as needed.
• Serve as a cross‑trained operational resource to ensure continuity of leadership and patient care across hospice clinical programs, providing coverage for the Hospice House Manager and the In‑Home Hospice Manager during planned and unplanned absences.
• Lead clinical education efforts by facilitating onboarding of nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNAs), providing regular in‑services, training sessions, and continuous learning opportunities that support employee competencies, regulatory compliance, and excellence in hospice and palliative care.
• Provide educational outreach to schools, healthcare facilities, clinics, and community groups to raise awareness and understanding of hospice and palliative care services, strengthening community partnerships and promoting informed care decisions.
