Clinical Education Director, RN

About the role

The Clinical Educator at Eventide Lincoln in Lincoln, NE is responsible for preparing, developing, coordinating, and implementing all clinical education and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and evaluates educational needs of all employees.
• Creates and conducts training programs for all employees and management.
• Develops instructional materials to assist employees as needed.
• Schedules and conducts CPR certification classes for all Nurses, Home Health Aides and qualified individuals.
• Works with the Nursing Assistant Class Instructor to prepare new class schedules, order necessary supplies and assists as necessary.
• Schedule Mandatory In-services.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with all staff.
• Displays friendly, outgoing, helpful attitude toward all employees.
• Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services offered.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Aids Human Resources with various projects.
• Rotates weekend and weekly on-call responsibilities and provides leadership to direct care staff.

Requirements

• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Must have a NE RN License.
• Currently in good standing in all states where you have ever been licensed as a nurse in the U.S.
• Current CPR (or approved equivalent) certification.

Qualifications

• Prepares, develops, coordinates, and implements all clinical education and training programs.
• Trains new hires at orientation.
