Clinical Education Coordinator - New Mexico

About the role
As a Clinical Education Coordinator with PHI Health, you'll be at the forefront of critical care, providing rapid response and advanced medical assistance in emergencies. You will ensure coordination and delivery of educational programs, maintain active involvement in EMS activities, and work closely with leadership to uphold our high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver required educational programs for new hires and existing clinical personnel
- Maintain active involvement in program-wide EMS activities
- Perform audits and verify employee educational requirement completion and documentation (some travel required)
- Actively participate in web-based course evaluation and development
- Assist management with interviews and evaluations of potential new hires
- Work closely with Program Medical Director(s) and CQI Committee for case review sessions and ad hoc educational presentations
- Maintain requirements for active flight status and periodically function as primary flight crew member and/or third person observer if applicable
- Assist program director and operations managers with outreach education when available
Requirements
- At least 1 and preferably 3 years of flight experience
- Current licensure (RN, EMT-P, or RRT)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Current specialty certification preferred (CFRN, FPC, RRT); otherwise, must complete within 24 months of hire
- Experience in adult education preferred: experience as training preceptor and certified instructor in ITLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP strongly preferred
- Good writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to relate to clinical EMS staff
- Computer literate with above-average software proficiency
- Must pass a pre-placement drug test and background screen
- Must reside in New Mexico; regular travel is required
This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
