Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, monitoring, and improving the quality of services with the goal of optimal patient outcomes.
- Identifies training needs; coordinates orientation, educational, and staff development activities.
- Collaborates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of applicable policies and procedures.
- Serves as liaison. Provides feedback to medical staff and administration regarding outcomes from clinical improvement initiatives during and after implementation, and regarding outcomes of performance measures of clinical pathways.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and committees to ensure evidence-based clinical quality goals and outcomes are developed and implemented using appropriate standards of care.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Four (4) years Respiratory therapy experience.
- Certifications, Licenses Or Registration Required:
- Respiratory Therapy License from Mississippi State Board for Allied Health License (Respiratory Care).
- Certification from National Board Of Respiratory Care (CRT).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board Of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BCH Respiratory-PALS.
