About the role

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of a rehabilitative outpatient clinic providing Physical and Occupational Therapy. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, managing clinic operations, and overseeing clinical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Meet clinic and individual clinician census goals
  • Scorecard review weekly with Regional Clinical Director (RCD)
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Facilitate facility maintenance and review
  • Interview and hire clinical, administrative, and support staff
  • Train and onboard clinical staff, evaluate performance
  • Resolve performance issues and escalate to Human Resources
  • Monitor staff compliance and follow up with patients
  • Manage monthly budget, clinical supplies, and expenses
  • Perform EMR schedule reviews weekly
  • Conduct new patient evaluation audits weekly
  • Manage physician referrals and direct access reviews
  • Support clinical staff in expense management, scheduling, and interviewing
  • Adhere to lost patient log workflow and monitor discharge policies
  • Order clinical supplies monthly
  • Participate in weekly calls with RCD and meetings with Operations Manager (OM)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate degree preferred
  • Valid Physical Therapy License
  • Minimum of three years' clinical outpatient experience and two years' clinical supervision or clinical program development experience
  • Able to troubleshoot, make decisions, and have a keen sense for judgment; action-oriented; approachable; team player
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, and communication skills

Qualifications

Salary range is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
