About the role
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of a rehabilitative outpatient clinic providing Physical and Occupational Therapy. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, managing clinic operations, and overseeing clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Meet clinic and individual clinician census goals
- Scorecard review weekly with Regional Clinical Director (RCD)
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Facilitate facility maintenance and review
- Interview and hire clinical, administrative, and support staff
- Train and onboard clinical staff, evaluate performance
- Resolve performance issues and escalate to Human Resources
- Monitor staff compliance and follow up with patients
- Manage monthly budget, clinical supplies, and expenses
- Perform EMR schedule reviews weekly
- Conduct new patient evaluation audits weekly
- Manage physician referrals and direct access reviews
- Support clinical staff in expense management, scheduling, and interviewing
- Adhere to lost patient log workflow and monitor discharge policies
- Order clinical supplies monthly
- Participate in weekly calls with RCD and meetings with Operations Manager (OM)
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate degree preferred
- Valid Physical Therapy License
- Minimum of three years' clinical outpatient experience and two years' clinical supervision or clinical program development experience
- Able to troubleshoot, make decisions, and have a keen sense for judgment; action-oriented; approachable; team player
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, and communication skills
Qualifications

Salary range is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
