About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. This role will facilitate clinical informatics initiatives to improve care quality and clinical performance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates clinical informatics initiatives to enhance care quality and clinical performance
• Develops, delivers, and evaluates hospital and organization-wide clinical informatics education
• Cross-trains to provide Clinical Informatics support for Baptist Health South Florida facilities
• Coordinates and communicates the use of technology in the direct provision of nursing and ancillary care
• Manages and delivers educational experiences, and supports evidenced-based care and nursing research
• Serves as a bridge between clinical staff, Clinical Informatics, and BHSF IT to collect and communicate feedback, daily issues, and educational needs of the end-users
• Maintains 24-hour accountability and accessibility for clinical staff

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and provide informatics training and competency validation
• Strong understanding of clinical workflow processes, current and future workflow analysis, enhancements, and performance improvements to support clinical practice
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in Digital Imaging and PACS system upgrades and project management
• Supports end-user support for Imaging systems, provides support for Go-Live project implementations, and assists with Imaging and Radiology system exp

Pay

$80,516.80 - $107,087.34 / year depending on experience
