About the role

Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention and education utilizing evidence-based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of intervention. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assess and diagnose patients for malnutrition.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: Alabama State Licensure. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be obtained within 6 months of employment)

Additional Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail necessary
