About the role
To assess the nutritional needs of patients; provide quality nutritional care and monitor response to nutrition therapy as appropriate to the age of the population served (i.e. child, adolescent, adult and geriatric).
Qualifications
- Knowledge of theories, principles, & concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science/ closely related field + up to 1 yr of post degree course work and/or internship
- No previous experience required
- 3-6 months of on job training/orientation
- RD/RDN registration required
- Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs
- Counsel and educate patients and their families, assign and follow up on the work of other employees, and perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill

Pay
- Salary range provided to comply with New Jersey Law
- The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.
- The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation
