About the Hospital

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital and a member of Prime Healthcare. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities since 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospital's School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.
• Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.
• Provides nutrition education to patients and families.
• Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary tailored to the patient population.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (CMS requirement).
• One year of healthcare experience is desirable.

Employment Status: Per Diem. Shift: Days.
