About the role

This position operates under the direction of the Director of Food Service or authorized designee.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for nutrition problems
• Assess nutrition needs and plan medical nutrition therapy with ongoing reassessment
• Counsel patients on modified diets
• Evaluate and monitor patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition
• Assist with various clinical programs
• Provide nutrition education to members of the healthcare team throughout the medical center
