About the Role

The Clinical Dentist is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive system of dental care for NARA NW. This role provides leadership in developing and implementing collaborative and integrated services within NARA NW and its culture. The Clinical Dentist will work closely and collaboratively with the Medical Director and the Dental Director, accepting cultural guidance and support, to achieve the highest quality of services and best outcomes for clients and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures culturally appropriate dental services
  • Provides care and maintenance for the patient’s oral health
  • Maintains necessary credentialing, licensure, and continuing education (CE) requirements
  • Assists in developing and maintaining relationships with the Nine Tribes of Oregon and other tribes across the country, the State of Oregon, and other healthcare entities
  • Develops and maintains relationships with the Native community and ensures their involvement in program design and operation
  • Represents NARA locally, statewide, and nationally as needed
  • Participates in and leads agency events and planning efforts
  • Develops and implements an integrated system of care for dental services throughout NARA
  • Works collaboratively with all components of NARA to provide the best services possible
  • Ensures programs are developed to meet client needs
  • Ensures client utilization of services is appropriate
  • Develops and monitors client outcomes

Pay

$170,000.00 – $200,000.00 annual salary (exempt)

Schedule

This is an in-person position, 4 days per week.
