What You’ll Do
- Lead clinical data mapping and conversion activities by partnering with the data migration vendor and technical teams to define how legacy clinical data—including diagnoses, medications, allergies, assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation—will be mapped, transformed, and loaded into the future-state EHR.
- Validate migrated clinical data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability for patient care by reviewing mapping logic, evaluating conversion results, identifying data quality issues, and coordinating remediation activities before go-live.
- Serve as the primary clinical decision-maker for day-to-day data mapping questions, escalating risks, ambiguities, and patient safety concerns to clinical leadership when appropriate.
- Act as the liaison between Clinical Operations and the data migration team, translating clinical workflow requirements into data mapping decisions while documenting assumptions, decisions, validation criteria, migration scope, and go-live readiness.
- Develop and execute a scalable clinical data validation strategy for each go-live wave, coordinating validation efforts across regional operational and clinical leaders.
- Monitor validation progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to support successful implementation timelines.
- Provide oversight, mentorship, and direction to Clinical Data Mapping Analysts as additional team members are onboarded.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clinical data integrity and support a seamless transition to the new EHR platform.
