About the Role

PANTHERx, the nation’s largest rare disease pharmacy, is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Senior Clinical Account Manager. The Clinical Data Manager plays a crucial role in developing and managing data specifications during the implementation phase of new product launches, working cross-functionally to provide clinical data insights to manufacturing partners and internal RxARECARE teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leads data integration and file spec discussions between new manufacturer partners, aggregators, HUBs, and PANTHERx.
  • Provides program-specific clinical recommendations for data files.
  • Collaborates with the clinical team to identify key points in program design that enhance the manufacturer's view of the patient journey.
  • Coordinates with the data team to project plan and prioritize based on launch timelines.
  • Works with the external dashboard team to develop enhancements and program-specific elements for the manufacturer patient portal.
  • Manages internal report development during the implementation phase of new lines of business.
  • Oversees data changes during the post-launch phase.
  • Supports existing clinical programs data development for RxARECARE programs to drive optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prepares materials and presentations to update, educate, and influence stakeholders, including clinical program status reports, dashboards, and outcomes insights.
  • Manages multiple work streams and deliverables across RxARECARE programs to support project and organizational goals.
  • Serves as the clinical data subject matter expert for assigned RxARECARE teams.
  • Assists in winning new business through research and presentation preparation for external stakeholders.
  • Adheres to and assists in updating accreditation standards.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution.
  • Licensed or eligible for pharmacy licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • 3 years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • High level of independent judgment, initiative, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, clear, logical, and consistent.
  • Experience in data management or clinical informatics.
  • Highest attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a pharmacy post-graduate residency (PGY-1, PGY-2) or fellowship.
  • Advanced certification (e.g., BCPS, BCOP, CSP, etc.).
  • Deep clinical knowledge and basic understanding of specialty pharmacy workflow.
  • Experience with research and clinical publications.
  • Experience developing, managing, and executing clinical programs.

Work Environment

This role operates primarily in a hybrid work environment, with a mix of remote and in-office days as determined by the manager and business needs. The remote environment should mirror a professional office setting with limited distractions. Occasional travel and in-office meetings are expected. Standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams or Zoom), is routinely used.
