Position Summary
VNA Health Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Coding Review team as a Clinical Data Coordinator/OASIS Review. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing OASIS assessments, supporting ICD-10 coding activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting documentation excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Review OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure documentation is consistent with the Plan of Care and medication profile
- Submit OASIS data and resolve rejections or discrepancies
- Identify trends and communicate findings to leadership and clinical teams
- Provide ICD-10 coding support as needed
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, federal, state, and agency regulations
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support quality patient outcomes
- Review clinical documentation and recommend corrective actions when appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives
Qualifications
- Current NJ RN License required
- BSN preferred
- OASIS Certified or actively pursuing OASIS Certification required
- Coding Certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of home health experience required
- Strong knowledge of OASIS, ICD-10 coding, and Medicare regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Business office environment with frequent computer and phone use
- Frequent interaction with clinical and operational staff
- Maintain focus and accuracy while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Pay
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $40.00 to USD $52.00. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
