Clinical Coordinator - School of Nursing
Job Duties
- Manage end-to-end coordination of clinical placements, including student assignments, scheduling, site placements, and resolving conflicts.
- Serve as the primary liaison with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to ensure clear, timely communication and alignment on placement logistics and expectations.
- Maintain accurate data across placement systems, including entry, tracking, reporting, and ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Develop and maintain clinical rosters, monitor cohort progression, and ensure alignment with program requirements.
- Support administrative aspects of preceptor assignments, including documentation tracking and record maintenance.
- Ensure clinical placement activities meet internal policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Compile placement-related data, support reporting needs, and identify opportunities to improve coordination processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience in program coordination, administrative operations, or scheduling in a complex environment.
- Three (3) years of experience managing schedules, calendars, or logistics involving multiple stakeholders.
- Three (3) years of experience working with databases, tracking systems, or data management processes.
Education & Certifications Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline such as Healthcare Administration or Health Services Administration, Public Health, Higher Education Administration, Business Administration or Management, or Organizational Leadership.
- Two (2) years of experience in higher education, healthcare, or a clinical environment.
- One (1) year of experience supporting clinical placements, internships, or experiential learning programs.
- One (1) year of experience working with compliance, accreditation, or regulatory process.
- One (1) year of experience working with survey tools, reporting, or data analysis.
