Clinical Coordinator RN Periop

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator RN Periop position within the VMFH Division Support Services at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Enumclaw, Washington, is dedicated to improving the quality and safety of patient care through clinical education and oversight of daily work unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical education needs and assess employee competencies.
• Identify performance/compliance improvement opportunities and coordinate related projects/initiatives.
• Collaborate with appropriate personnel to ensure standards of care and practice are current and incorporated into nursing practice.
• Avoids gaps in patient care by assisting management in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new/revised policies/procedures/protocols.
• Understand the importance of data in performance improvement processes.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing and five years of progressively responsible related work experience, OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing and one year of lead or Charge RN experience.
• Active Washington State RN License.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
