About the role
Join our team as a full-time, day shift General Surgery Clinical Coordinator RN in the OR.
Responsibilities
- Directing and supervising staff within the department to ensure quality patient care.
- Supporting hospital mission and fostering harmonious relationships among nursing staff, medical teams, ancillary departments, patients, and families.
- Providing care to a specific patient group and systematically evaluating care quality to promote improvements.
- Ensuring care delivery aligns with hospital philosophy, budget, and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to direct patient care.
Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least two years of recent OR experience.
- ACLS certification.
