Responsibilities
- Take medical histories and performing physical examinations with attending physician in outpatient setting.
- Prescribe medications, and managing patients by phone as appropriate; seeing selected patients in routine follow up and for urgent same day, next day appointments.
- Order and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Assist in coordination of operative schedule.
- Cooking and preparing patients for discharge, making daily rounds.
- Cooking and coordinating multidisciplinary services, participating and presenting at multidisciplinary tumor board.
- Participate in clinical research protocols using Good Clinical Practices (GCP) related to patient care.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
- NYS RN and NP Licenses.
- Board Certification.
- Current (or eligible for) New York State DEA license.
- BLS Certified (ACLS optional).
- 2-4 years nursing or related experience.
Qualifications
Experience in neurosurgery, neurology, critical care, or emergency department care preferred.
Skills
Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent in education, training, and experience.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
