Clinical Coordinator Complex Care - Nights

About the role

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to facilitate patient flow and coordinate activities and communication for the unit during the assigned shift. The Coordinator ensures that patient care is delivered efficiently, caring, and courteous, working alongside a transdisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow on the nursing unit during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate unit activities and communication among staff.
• Ensure patient care is delivered efficiently, compassionately, and courteously.
• Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, therapists, and medical psychologists.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience providing care in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation facility.
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent.
• CRRN, CBIS, or other nursing specialty certification, or willingness to acquire within defined parameters.

Skills

• Experience with staffing, scheduling, and clinical skill mix (preferred).

Pay

Compensation ranges from $39.00 to $55.00 per hour, reflecting pay equity and market‑competitive rates. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
