About the role

We're seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing care within a physician practice setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Policies and Procedures: Implement and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate schedules for registered nurses and other clinical staff.
  • Assessment: Assess patient status, review medications, and document findings.
  • Care: Collaborate with providers to develop and implement care plans.
  • Education: Provide patient and family education and manage educational materials.
  • Population Management: Communicate imaging and pathology results and coordinate follow-up appointments.
  • Human Resources: Provide feedback, conduct evaluations, and introduce new information.
  • Communication: Apply patient-specific communication skills and manage conflicts.
  • Leadership: Delegate tasks, provide feedback, and participate in professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • A graduate of an accredited nursing school with a BSN.
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience.
  • Supervisory and outpatient setting experience preferred.

Skills

  • Efficiency and resourcefulness.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook and electronic medical record technology.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of oncology nursing and current certification.
  • Attendance at Breast Conference as required.
  • Completion of annual oncology nursing competency assessment.
