Clinical Coordinator
About the Role
Provides clinical and administrative supervision, training, and mentoring for case managers and rehabilitation specialists on assigned team. Ensures clinical quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded by direct reports. Ensures that assessments and individual service plans are developed and implemented for each member on their team.
Requires thorough and working knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, DSM-V–TR codes and descriptions, psychotropic medications, and crisis intervention. Must display excellent leadership skills, effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and excellent time management. Ability to maintain good recipient relationships, identify priorities, and stay organized is essential. Preferred typing skills of 25-40 wpm. Knowledge of community-based behavioral health services, co-occurring substance abuse disorder assessment and treatment, and housing needs assessments and resources is preferred.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral health or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Minimum two (2) years experience working with seriously mentally ill adults
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience preferred
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
