Recovery Centers of America is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to oversee and support the quality of patient care as part of our multidisciplinary team. About the role

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will ensure the effective operation of clinical services during your shifts, including supervision of mental health and addiction services. You’ll also support staff, provide crisis de-escalation when needed, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the quality of all mental health and addiction clinical services.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor in case conferences to implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, addressing psychological, psychosocial, safety, and educational needs.
  • Document all client interactions for continuity of care.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to clinical staff during shifts.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing and other interdisciplinary departments for coordinated care.
  • Handle employee counseling and report incidents to the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of supervisory clinical experience in a health/human services agency.
  • 2+ years of experience in peer support, recovery coaching, or as a recovery specialist.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Project Management: Able to coordinate multiple components of a project, balancing scope, time, cost, and quality.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work on your feet and communicate effectively with clients and staff.

Pay

$50,000-$60,000 annual salary

Schedule

Full-Time, 1:00pm-9:30pm (Variable Schedule, includes weekends)

A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at other RCA locations within a year after treatment.
