Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision to program staff (individual and group)
- Maintain 24-hour availability for emergency consultation
- Offer backup supervisory support to other programs as needed
- Ensure all program services comply with recovery and cultural competency principles, applicable licensing standards, contractual requirements, and agency policies
- Collect and assess outcome data, conduct continual program evaluation, and develop and implement performance improvement strategies
- Oversee staff development through regular meetings, in-service training, and performance feedback
- Aid supervisor in developing the annual program plan
- Manage program operations including budget oversight, documentation of compliance indicators, community and interagency relations, and development of formal proposals to address program needs
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university (or evaluated foreign equivalent), with a minimum of three years of post-degree experience in behavioral health, including one year of progressive supervisory responsibility and at least one year of direct mental health services to children, youth, or young adults
- Pennsylvania licensure required in one of the following: LPC, LCSW, LSW, psychologist, psychiatrist, CRNP with mental health certification, marriage and family therapist, or licensed behavior specialist — with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS services
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history check; verified absence from all Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania licensure required in one of the specified behavioral health disciplines
- Experience in providing direct mental health services to children, youth, or young adults
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
