About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate Clinical Coordinator MA to provide outstanding customer service to our community. This is a full-time, in-person position located at St. Anthony’s Primary Care Pasadena.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary)
  • No weekend work
  • No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical operations
  • Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures, and treatment
  • Support the physician's office healthcare team
  • Answer phones
  • Screen patient’s charts prior to appointments
  • Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures
  • Assist the physician during exams
  • Administer injections
  • Perform necessary lab work or testing
  • Follow up on test orders and report results to the physician and patient
  • Provide patient education
  • Maintain medical equipment and take inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Required certification or licensure: RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), EMT, NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), or Paramedic
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience
