Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant (MA-C) - Urgent Care (Per Diem)

This is a FLOAT position for our Southwest Region Urgent Care Clinics, including Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, Tacoma, University Place, Auburn, and Milton. The schedule is per diem, with a minimum requirement of 2-12 hour shifts per month.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or Washington State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA-C is issued
- Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
- Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
- Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
- Idaho State Requirements: Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT, WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsed by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment

Pay
The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
Unique earning potential includes: $2.50/hour Indigo Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked, $1.75/hour X-Ray Certification Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked for employees who become trained and certified in X-Ray, $1.25/hour Weekend Differential for staff who work weekend shifts, and Extra Shifts and Float incentives awarded when applicable.
Monthly Indigo Incentive Program, with a payout rate of up to $300/month.
