Education / Experience
- Basic seminary Master's degree required; Master of Divinity preferred.
- Four units (at least two advanced) of Clinical Pastoral Education certified by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent required.
- Ecclesiastical Endorsement required within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be people oriented.
- Able to create a strong working relationship with physicians, staff, peers, and local clergy.
- Able to create ministerial relationships.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Position requires sitting for 10%, standing for 60%, and mobility 30% of the workday.
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
- Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
- Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
- Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Minimal noise levels.
