Job Summary
CASES is seeking a Clinical Case Coordinator for its Intensive Services Unit. The role involves conducting Supervision Introduction/Orientation meetings, assisting participants with supervision appointments and court appearances, and developing collaborative service plans.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide supervision and community-based services to a caseload of pretrial participants.
- Rapidly (within 24-48 hours of release) conduct Supervision Introduction/Orientation meetings with new participants.
- Work collaboratively with the court and other pretrial staff team to ensure caseload participants' successful completion of mandated supervision appointments and court appearances.
- Review legal and court screening documentation and work with participants to analyze their offending behavior patterns, identifying behavioral changes and implementing supports.
- Conduct service need assessments with participants to examine psychosocial needs and problems, including mental and substance use disorders, and provide escort to community services.
- Link participants to treatment based on their eligibility, preferences, and needs and maintain collaborative relationships with community providers.
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the appropriate facilities staff member or supervisor.
What We Are Looking For
- A Master’s degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or a comparable professional degree.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in human services with individuals who have substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
- Extensive knowledge of community treatment, support services, and resources.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, court processes, and alternative to detention/incarceration services.
- Experience using databases such as Salesforce.
Additional Preferred Skills
- NYS Licensure preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm, 35 hours per week excluding breaks.
