Clinical Care Technician, Post Intensive Care Unit-III

As a Clinical Care Technician (CCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You'll assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy, and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve and make our mission to improve lives a reality each day.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting with bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care)
• Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) to track patient health status
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to facility policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and address concerns
• Support emergency response efforts by applying Basic Life Support (BLS) skills such as CPR when needed in acute situations
• Provide patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients
• Participate in collaboration of the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred, or a CNA certificate

Pay

$20.82 - $29.67 per hour

Schedule

This position offers a 3 day a week schedule (24 hours per day) from 7am to 3:30p.m. and includes every other weekend as well as some holidays.
