About the role

The salary range for this role is $43–$48 depending on geography and level of experience, plus equity and an annual bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of oncology patients requiring multi-step coordination and follow-up.
  • Navigate provider systems, service lines, and care pathways with increasing independence.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining high-quality patient experiences.
  • Resolve routine coordination challenges independently and escalate complex scenarios appropriately.
  • Contribute feedback and insights that help improve workflows and care continuity.
  • Support CN I team members through informal guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as the primary advisor to eligible patients, effectively communicating the clinical superiority and $0 out-of-pocket financial benefits of Carrum CoEs to encourage program utilization.
  • Manage a moderate caseload (~125-150 cases, 20-30 of which are more complex cases) requiring coordinated referrals, clinical triage, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Manage assigned patient caseloads and coordination tasks, balancing clinical advocacy with engagement goals.
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation, opportunity tracking, and follow-through across care workflows.
  • Coordinate with external providers and internal partners to support seamless care delivery and optimal patient adoption.
  • Identify recurring operational issues, objection patterns, or engagement barriers, surfacing actionable improvement opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and ramp-up of newer team members in best practices for both patient care and consultative communication.
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance, clinical standards, and data integrity standards.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required (unrestricted state license; compact license preferred).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Experience in Oncology nursing or dedicated oncology navigation required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a consultative, sales, account management, or patient-conversion role (e.g., healthcare sales, patient intake/recruitment, health coaching, or clinical advocacy) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly, overcome patient hesitancy, and articulate complex benefit structures in simple, compelling terms.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred.
