About the Role
This position involves greeting patients, taking vitals, rooming patients, and completing chart documentation in a clinical care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with patient intake
- Cleaning exam rooms and instruments
- Managing test results
- Distributing faxes and referral letters
- Answering and returning phone calls
- Managing EMR alerts
- Assisting physicians during procedures
- Preparing sterile kits
- Providing discharge instructions and patient education
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of practice management software, EHR, and Microsoft Office
- Adherence to HIPAA and OSHA standards
Schedule
Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.
