Clinical Biostatistician

About the Role

As the Clinical Biostatistician, you will support the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute in the conduction and analysis of studies. You will handle the creation, maintenance, updating, and documentation of databases, and provide guidance for database structures and ad hoc query designs. You will provide strategic, statistical, and scientific advice on clinical trial planning.

  • Create and maintain clinical databases in Microsoft Access
  • Submit regulatory documents and create statistical documents
  • Provide statistical contributions to regulatory submissions and interactions
  • Perform statistical analyses, generate reports, and create statistical text for clinical study reports, clinical publications, and other communications

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in analysis, supervision of data management, and study design for biomedical applications
  • 5 years of experience with a Master’s Degree, or 2 years of experience with a PhD, in data managing and manipulation using statistical computing
  • SAS or SPSS experience – preferred
  • 1 year of clinical trial experience
  • 1 year of experience using all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Access
