Clinical Authorizations Associate

We are currently seeking a skilled Clinical Authorizations Associate to join our growing behavioral health organization. Proud Moments ABA provides the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21, offering expert treatment, innovative techniques, and compassionate, child-centered care.

About the role

The Clinical Authorizations Associate will assist in client services, perform operations and workflow by submitting and obtaining authorizations approvals from insurance carriers for clients. This role is vital for effective case scheduling and related staff/client communication, maintaining client files.

Responsibilities

• Submitting and obtaining authorizations approvals from insurance carriers for clients
• Ensuring that authorization details match the original request
• Follow up on outstanding authorization approvals to identify what the issues are
• Tracking and reporting to supervisor any discrepancies or issues with authorizations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
• 3–5 years of proven experience obtaining authorizations from insurance carriers in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications is required
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

$62,000 - $67,000 annually
