Clinical Athletic Trainer - MSKI Mallard Creek

About the role

The Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) – Mallard Creek is an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinic. Athletic Trainers work collaboratively with orthopedic providers and rehab specialists to deliver evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Support a clinic setting, alongside an Advanced Practice Provider and Surgeon.
• Refer individuals to the appropriate specialist or General Practitioner when necessary.
• Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, anatomy, body mechanics, and rehabilitation.
• Progress athletes through rehabilitation protocols and return them functionally to a state comparable to pre-injury.
• Room patients, check in basket, DME, injections, assist front desk and schedule authorization teammate as needed.
• Order clinic medications for buy and bill.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required.
• Completion of an accredited curriculum established by the National Association of Athletic Trainers (NATA) Board of Certification required.
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer and NATA Board of Certification/applicable state Athletic Trainers Associations.

Qualifications

• Experience Knowledge of the Athletic Training profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and/or previous work experience in the field.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Monday - Friday, 8a-5p.
