About the Role

Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a motivated Clinical Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our elite sports medicine team in Freehold, NJ. As an integral part of our conservative care team, you’ll work alongside Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, MDs, and Orthopedic Surgeons in a high-energy, multidisciplinary clinic environment. We provide the resources and on-the-job training to help you utilize your full scope of practice.

Our integrated team of medical providers, orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation professionals collaborate to deliver exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care through one-on-one evaluations and build rapport to understand functional goals.
  • Oversee Physical Performance Testing (PPT), including Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and computer-recorded strength testing.
  • Develop and tailor patient-specific rehab programs, monitoring progressions and regressions.
  • Utilize advanced modalities such as Alter-G Treadmills, DRX-9000 Traction, Normatec, Game Ready, and Litecure Laser.
  • Act as an interdisciplinary liaison, communicating directly with surgeons and medical doctors to streamline patient care plans.
  • Engage in community marketing events, team outings, and company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License.
  • Degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting with a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and manual techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, with compassion for patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic treatments, manual massage, exercise prescription, and physical therapy techniques and equipment.
  • Energetic, articulate team player willing to challenge themselves and their patients.

Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 / year

Schedule

  • Full-time, on-site at one location.
  • 4/10’s schedule (four 10-hour days per week).
