About the role
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery is seeking a part-time transplant surgeon to help provide coverage in their new program, serving a large region of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, performs operations and manages care of patients donating and receiving kidney transplants;
- Participates in multidisciplinary collaboration with nephrology team, nursing, social workers, etc.
Requirements
- MD/DO/MBBS/MBBCh;
- Completion of USMLE Step 3;
- Board certified or eligible in Surgery;
- Completion of an American Society of Transplant Surgeons accredited Fellowship in transplantation.
