Clinical Asst Professor, Transplant Surgery, Part-time

About the role

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery is seeking a part-time transplant surgeon to cover a new program serving a large region of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, performs operations, and manages care of patients donating and receiving kidney transplants.
• Participates in multidisciplinary collaboration with nephrology team, nursing, social workers, etc.

Requirements

• MD/DO/MBBS/MBBCh degree.
• Completion of the USMLE Step 3.
• Board certified or eligible in Surgery.
• Completion of an American Society of Transplant Surgeons accredited Fellowship in transplantation.
