Clinical Associate (Nursing Assistant) Training Program
About the role
This is a paid Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP) designed to support candidates with little or no patient care experience who are seeking a direct patient care position within our hospital. Upon successful completion, you will join one of our inpatient teams to deliver superior physical and emotional assistance to patients at Winchester Hospital, a 5x Magnet-designated, Top 10 Massachusetts-recognized 223-bed regional hospital.
The following two weeks of training and orientation are mandatory:
- 9/14/2026 - 9/18/2026
- 9/21/2026 - 9/25/2026
Requirements
- Commit to no less than 24 hours per week (various hours/shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation) for at least one year.
- Cannot reduce hours during the first year of employment.
- Must attend all training program sessions.
- Influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment.
Pay
Starting rate is $19.50 an hour plus any applicable shift differentials. The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $26.24 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices.
