Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in advanced reconstructive urology.
- Provide clinical care in the following areas:
- Urethral Reconstruction
- Penile Reconstruction and surgical management of Peyronie's Disease
- Surgical Management of Erectile Dysfunction
- Surgical Management of Male Stress Urinary Incontinence
- Surgical management of Buried Penis
- Complex reconstructive procedures including skin graft
- Robotic and open ureteral and bladder reconstruction
- Longitudinal care of patients with prior reconstructive surgery or adverse outcomes
- Participate in departmental clinical conferences, educational activities, and multidisciplinary collaboration as appropriate.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency
- Completion of a Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery (GURS) fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Michigan
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care
- Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and program development
